The primary objective of the Professional Development programme in Safety Management System is to provide learners with a robust foundation in safety management principles and practices. This programme aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively identify, assess, and manage workplace hazards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. By fostering a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and standards, such as those set by OSHA, the course seeks to cultivate a proactive culture of safety within organizations. Participants will learn to implement best practices in various safety domains, including Process Safety Management, Occupational Health Safety, Construction Safety, and Fire & Safety, ultimately contributing to reducing workplace accidents, injuries, and associated costs.

Achieved Competencies

Upon completing the Professional Development programme in Safety Management System, learners will achieve several key outcomes. They will gain a deep understanding of the elements of Process Safety Management, including the differentiation between Process Safety and Occupational Safety Hazards. Participants will be adept at developing a positive process safety culture within organizations and understand the critical aspects of Management of Change (MOC).
